Alegria Media and Consulting Ltd. ("we") respects intellectual property. We respond to notices that comply with the U.S. Digital Millennium Copyright Act (17 U.S.C. 512) and to equivalent notices under other laws.
Sending a notice
Send your notice through the contact form and choose the topic "Copyright notice". It must include:
- Your physical or electronic signature as the owner or as a person authorized to act for the owner.
- Identification of the copyrighted work you say is infringed.
- Identification of the material on this site, with its URL, so we can find it.
- Your contact information, including an email address.
- A statement that you believe in good faith that the use is not authorized by the owner, its agent or the law.
- A statement that the information in the notice is accurate and, under penalty of perjury, that you are authorized to act for the owner.
Counter-notification
If material you provided was removed and you believe that was a mistake or misidentification, send a counter-notification through the same form. It must include:
- Your physical or electronic signature.
- Identification of the material removed and where it appeared before removal.
- A statement under penalty of perjury that you believe in good faith the material was removed by mistake or misidentification.
- Your name, address and contact details, and a statement that you consent to the jurisdiction of the federal district court for your address (or, if you are outside the United States, any judicial district in which we may be found), and that you will accept service from the person who sent the notice or their agent.
We may restore the material 10 to 14 business days after receiving a valid counter-notification, unless the person who sent the original notice tells us they have filed a court action.
False claims
Under 17 U.S.C. 512(f), anyone who knowingly misrepresents that material is infringing, or that it was removed by mistake, may be liable for damages.
Repeat infringers
The site has no user uploads. If anyone contributes material to the site, we will stop accepting material from a person found to infringe repeatedly.
Forwarding notices
We may forward a notice or counter-notification to the party concerned.
